Garden Gnome Workshop

In this workshop you will make a gorgeous characterful, little gnome. If you are feeling creative, why not give it a Halloween or Christmas theme

You will learn how to construct the base shape of your gnome first and then use fabric hardener, with a selection of fabrics, clay and of course your imagination to bring your gnome to life.

Once dry, it is time to introduce the magic with pigment colours applied using a dry brushing technique.

Your little gnome will take two to three weeks to fully cure, but after this it will be weather resistant and can be given a home in your garden. 

Your gnome will be approximately 20cm tall and mounted on a slate base.

No previous experience of fabric sculpting is needed as every step will be fully explained and demonstrated.
