Journal Workshop - Open Studio

During September this year I am taking part in the Hertfordshire Open Studios and as part of that event I will be running one of my most popular workshops - creating a journal design. This is the perfect workshop for those new to fabric sculpting.

In this workshop you will use fabric sculpting techniques to design and decorate the cover of an A5 journal/notebook. 

You will be shown how to combine different textured fabrics and embellishments to create a fabulous cover with a design of your choice. Once dry you will add colour using a dry brush technique to really enhance the textures.

No experience is necessary just bring your imagination.
