Workshop Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions (Purchase & Redemption)

There are specific terms and conditions which apply to Gift Vouchers and their use. Please read these carefully before making your purchase.
 

• Gift Vouchers can be used as full or part payment for one or more workshops. If the workshop cost is of a higher value than the gift voucher then the difference will be payable by the redeemer.

• Gift Vouchers must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase although the booked workshop date may fall after this date. The expiry date will be clearly shown on the voucher.

• Gift Vouchers are only valid for workshops that are bookable through the Curiously Contrary website. Any workshop where payment is taken directly by the venue are excluded.

• Refunds - If you change your mind about purchasing a Gift Voucher you have 14 days to request a refund from the date you made the purchase. Refunds will only be given to the original purchaser through the original payment method. A refund will not be provided if the voucher has been redeemed either fully or partially. After 14 days no refund will be given.

Redeeming your Gift Voucher

To redeem a Gift Voucher the redeemer should visit Curiously Contrary's workshop page and choose the workshop/s they would like to attend. They should then send an email to info@curiously-contrary.co.uk stating the workshop/s they would like to book and their voucher number. 

 

If the value of the booking exceeds that covered by the Gift Voucher a PayPal invoice will be sent via email for the difference. This invoice will be payable immediately and no bookings will be secured until the invoice has been paid in full. 
If the value of the Gift Voucher exceeds the cost of the workshop/s then the remaining balance will be held for use as full or part payment against a further workshop. Any remaining balance will expire on the original expiry date of the Gift Voucher.

 

Booking Cancellation
If a Gift Voucher has been used to book a place on a workshop, and the customer is unable to attend the workshop they must inform Curiously Contrary as soon as possible. If notification is received more than 14 days before the date of the workshop then the customer will be given the opportunity to change their booking to an alternative workshop, of equal or lesser value, if places are available. If less than 7 days notification is given or if the customer does not turn up for the booked workshop, they will not have the opportunity to change their booking to an alternative workshop. No refunds will be given for any workshops booked using Gift Vouchers.
